Mid-autumn moon festival in Vietnam

Autumn is a wonderful season with cool weather and especially mid autumn moon festival is one of four biggest festivals in Vietnam and hold in this season for children with many interesting activities.

 

Mid – autumn moon festival is hold on 15^th of lunar August every year when the moon is biggest and brightest. At this time, people are at ease, harvest is upcoming, and the weather is fresh and cool especially this festival has a special meaning with countries of wet rice civilization, the moon symbolizes the peace, happiness so the mid autumn moon festival is hold not only in Vietnam but also in other countries like china, Japan, Korea, etc with purpose of honor traditional values and gifts from nature.
